Family run winery Ibero is based in the Mukuzani microzone of the Alazani valley (Kakheti).
Ibero was founded in 2002 by Grandfather Shota Natroshvili and the vineyard is now run by Shota and his sons and grandsons. Their independent craft production bottles about 20,000 wines per year and focuses on traditional qvevri wines.
As our featured winery, you will get to try 3 wines from Ibero’s 2018 collection – including the very last 30 bottles of their 2018 Saperavi which they have in stock.

Our wine tasting on May 31st will include a guided tasting with the winemakers via zoom.
Arge is a new wine cellar just north of Telavi in the village Ruispiri. They may be new, but they are already making fantastic, small batch wines that you are unlikely to find in wine shops in Tbilisi.
We love their whole 2018 range.
A collaboration between Georgia & Germany. Mosmieri is a larger production than our other vineyards but they are making some fantastic wines. As summer is on the way, we wanted to offer something you could drink on your balcony in the sunshine to take away the covid isolation blues! Mosmieri’s Saperavi Rosé, made by head winemaker David Maisuradze pairs perfectly with spring sunshine.
I’m also a big fan of the Saperavi Qvevri as a wonderfully bold Red.
A small independent family winery and guest house, with their Marani (Cellar) in the heart of Telavi. They buy most of their grapes from Sanavardo Estate and have some exciting blends of European grapes, grown in Georgia. I’m a particular fan of their Montepulciano/Cabernet Blend.
How Can I Pay? Currently we can only accept payment by bank transfer to GEL – From a Georgian Bank, or from an international money transfer (Transferwise is a cheap service to do this, and connects directly to your bank account in the USA / UK).
Otherwise, you can deposit payment in cash at one of the hundreds of Bank of Georgia Pay-boxes around Tbilisi.
Can I submit an order now and pay later? You can order whenever you like, but your order is not secured until we receive payment (or confirmation of payment with a screenshot). First 30 people to pay or send proof of payment get the cases of wine. Once they sell out, that’s it, no matter when you registered. We might be able to offer a slightly different selection of wines to those who pay after the first 30 cases sell out – but only if payment is received by us by May 23rd.
Why Must I Pay In Advance Rather Than On Delivery? We are buying all the wine in bulk on May 24th. If we don’t have payments by the 23rd, we cannot buy your wines to bring back to Tbilisi.
How Do I Pay at A Paybox in Tbilisi? You can pay in cash at any Bank Of Georgia Paybox – it must be BoG (Orange Box) and not any other bank.
1. Select the option to pay cash to a bank account. 2. Enter the bank account number and payee from above. 3. Select to pay an “individual” account. Your transfer should be pretty much instant.
Can I Pay With Credit Card? Online payments with credit card in Georgia are not as easy to setup as they are in the USA/UK etc. We are working on being able to offer credit card payments in future. If you have no way to pay by bank transfer, or paybox (in cash at a paybox in Tbilisi) please contact [email protected] and we’ll try and organise a USD/EUR/GBP payment for you – extra fees apply.
I already made a payment but haven’t had a confirmation email that my order is complete? Our bank account cannot connect with email confirmation services, if your payment is in our account, then the order is finalised and we’ll contact you manually as soon as we can.
Details of the event and wines may be subject to change due to current state of emergency rules. If public spaces open by May 31st, we may offer an optional live tasting in person event (Additional fee to cover snacks and venue) – we will stream the live event if that happens.
If you decide you don’t want the wines or to attend and you do not meet the requirements for a full refund below, you can transfer your purchase to a friend and get them to fill out the above form so we can deliver to them instead.
